Meet Your Trainer
Lauren Winslow holds degrees in Animal Behavior and Psychology, and is a certified teacher of biology with a working knowledge of dog behavior, including breed-specific behaviors. She has nine years of active training and teaching experience in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, a system of positive reinforcement and careful behavior monitoring, and has been training dogs for eight years.
My approach is simple...
Observe a dog and his environment, begin initial training, develop a plan, and teach you, as the dog's family, how best to carry out that plan. Training a dog to behave with an expert trainer is not enough. You as the dog's family should be able to master all obedience commands and learn how a calm, assertive atmosphere fosters good dog behavior.
Dogs are a member of our families. They sleep, eat, and spend their days in our homes, sharing our lives. They deserve the care and respect given to other family members, and our trainer can develop that respect between you and your dog.
